In 2015 the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission extended its reach into Tyler with the Gateway to Hope.

At our Tyler day care center, we provide access to showers, laundry, haircuts, phone, mail, and a computer for those in need. Throughout the week, different volunteers come to help by distributing supplies, assisting guests at the computers, cutting hair, sharing the Lord, or sometimes just taking time to be an encouragement and a friendly ear.
