How to Help

Creative Ways to Help Us

Our ministry appreciates all that you have done in helping others through your generous prayers, volunteerism, gift in kind and financial support. Without your compassion of reaching out and making a difference in the lives of the least, the lost, and the forgotten our efforts in our community would be futile.

The average age of the men and women that come to Hiway 80 mission and Women and Family Shelter is 38 years, 60% of those we serve are residents from our community. The number one reason for their plight is lack of affordable housing. Please continue to help in making a difference in their lives.

Helping the Homeless

Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and continues to provide emergency shelter for men, women and families who are homeless and in need of help. We do not receive any federal, government, or United Way funds. Hiway 80 is a faith based ministry and is funded through the generous contributions from individuals, local churches, businesses and corporations, and the community at large.

Adopt a Room

Women and Family Shelter , our Christ-centered ministry for homeless women and their children has been in place for five years, and most of the resident rooms are showing the wear and tear of regular occupancy.

We are in need of you or your group to consider adopting these rooms for remodeling. In this way, you can bring "new life to old rooms" with your own signature. Please contact Women and Family Shelter for more information.

Share Card Program

The Hiway 80 Rescue Mission is pleased to inform you of a partnership it has entered into with Kroger Food Stores. We are participants in that organization's Share Card Program, in which 1% of a member's total expenditure toward grocery purchases will be reimbursed to the mission.
