On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 we will be celebrating our Veterans. Pine Tree Jazz Band will provide Patriotic Music and Alert Acadamy will present the Colors. The $900,000 expansion project at the Hiway 80 Rescue Mission’s Women & Families Shelter is close to completion. But the Mission still needs significant financial support ($250,000) from the community in order to open this important family shelter space by September. The goal is to open the doors of the needed new facility debt free. That way money raised can cover the everyday needs of families staying there instead of going towards debt service.
